This stoneware crackle serving bowl is perfect for a generous serving of salad for two, party chips or a nice fruit bowl on the table. This one is approx. 4.25 × 10 and holds approx. 64 ounces of soup (eating 64 ounces of soup not recommended).

Violet at the interior and foot well, with clear glazed crackle slip at the exterior. The lip and foot ring are abraded orange, chartreuse and violet slip texture. All of my work that features crackle slip and/or abrasion are priced a bit higher than those that don’t… it requires extra steps, and an extra firing.

Food, dishwasher and *microwave safe

A quick reheat of 20-30 seconds is typically fine, though I wouldn't recommend using this bowl to "cook" food or boil liquid in a microwave. *Although rare, prolonged heating (boiling) in a microwave can result in extreme temperature variations and cracking.
