Multiple layers of white, blue and chartreuse slips are painted on then sanded back through resulting in a rich modeled surface (and a slightly more expensive mug;)

Inspired by the weathered, painted layers on old buildings here in Helena, MT. Chartreuse Interior and foot well, Lip, handle and foot are a silky slate green/grey. Pre and Post firing sanding results in a modeled finish that feels smooth in the hand, like a weathered river stone. 3.5 in. tall, 12 oz.
